Beau Thai Ball Raises Over $60,000 for Pediatric Cancer
Clarks Landing Yacht Club, alongside Clarks Landing Marina, hosted the inaugural Beau Thai Ball — a heartfelt evening dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Beau Truesdale, while raising funds to support children and families battling pediatric cancer.
The event, held right here on the Clarks Landing property, brought together guests from across our wedding and boating communities — including many of our Clarks Landing Marina slip members, who purchased tickets to join in this meaningful cause.
Their participation helped make the evening an overwhelming success, raising over $60,000 for The Ashley Lauren Foundation, a local nonprofit based in Brielle that provides critical financial, emotional, and material support to New Jersey families facing pediatric cancer.
Honoring Beau’s Legacy
Beau Truesdale, who passed away in 2020 at the age of 31, was the former general manager of the family’s three wedding venues — Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake Heights, and The Bradford Estate in Hainesport. Known for his warmth, generosity, and leadership, Beau left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
To honor his memory, the Truesdale family, who also own Clarks Landing Yacht Sales & Marina, announced during the event that all three venues will now operate under a unified name: Beau Truesdale Wedding Venues. This rebrand reflects Beau’s spirit of love, kindness, and inclusivity — values that continue to guide the family’s businesses today.
A Night of Celebration and Giving
The evening was filled with music, laughter, and purpose — just as Beau would have wanted. Guests enjoyed live performances by The Ever After Band and AJH – Don’t Miss a Beat Events, while local businesses and sponsors generously contributed to the fundraising efforts.
Jacqueline Truesdale, Beau’s sister and general manager of the venues, shared,
“My brother’s legacy was one of compassion and giving, and this event allows us to carry that forward. By hosting it every year, we can continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children battling cancer while ensuring Beau’s memory and values live on.”
A Community United for Good
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our slip members and community partners who attended the event and helped make a difference. Together, we continue to celebrate not only Beau’s life but also the enduring spirit of generosity and community that defines Clarks Landing.
