Marina Operations Manager
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Marina Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our full-service marina overlooking the Manasquan River.
As the Marina Operations Manager, you will be responsible for fuel dock and ship store sales, transient slip reservations and placement, staff management, customer communication and conflict resolution, and emergency preparedness and response.

As the Marina Operations Manager, you will be responsible for fuel dock and ship store sales, transient slip reservations and placement, staff management, customer communication and conflict resolution, and emergency preparedness and response.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the marina staff, including dockhands, maintenance personnel, and office staff
- Oversee daily operations, including fueling, pump-out, slip rentals, and customer service
- Ensure the safety and security of the marina property and customers
- Develop and manage the marina's budget, including revenue and expense forecasting
- Monitor and maintain the marina's equipment and facilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
- Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors
- Ensure all staff are in place and trained to provide each customer with the appropriate service and correct attitude
- Ensure that all staff are trained in emergency procedures
- Prepare the Ship Store schedule
- Operate the marina consistent with and maintain the marina's standing as a Clean Marina
- Address safety, security, and liability concerns as soon as possible
- Maintain a friendly, professional working relationship with co-workers, members, guests, and vendors
- Perform daily inspection of the docks, work with maintenance manager in scheduling general repair and maintenance of the docks in order to maintain safety and cleanliness standards and to identify issues requiring maintenance, repair, or replacement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marina or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of boating and marina operations
- Experience with budgeting and financial management
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysKnowledge of safety and security protocols
