Clarks Landing Yacht Sales Group Continues their Community Outreach to Help the Frontline & Neighbors in Need

Point Pleasant, NJ (June 29, 2020) – Since the pandemic crisis began, the Clarks Landing Yacht Sales Group has had one, steady response which is to ask the question, "How can we help?" Here's where their wedding and boating teams lent their helping hands:

• Their Jersey shore wedding venues, Clarks Landing Yacht Sales Yacht Club in Point Pleasant and The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake Heights, challenged local residents and community partners to help fill a 23-foot BENETEAU Flyer boat with food by May 31st. With the help of caring donors, they were able to hit their goal early. In total, they dropped off over 2,760 pounds of donated food to Fulfill, formerly the Food Bank of Ocean and Monmouth County.
• They collected close to $1,000 in direct donations, also going to Fulfill to help local neighbors in need.
• They collected food donations at their South Jersey wedding venues at Clarks Landing Yacht Sales Yacht Club in Delran and The Bradford Estate in Hainesport, benefiting neighbors in need through the Food Bank of South Jersey.
• They donated over 2,000 protective face shields for frontline workers at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, through their collaboration with Hatteras and their HatterasHelps PPE GoFundMe Campaign.
• They collected materials for the Oak Tree Lodge to make & donate masks to local medical facilities.
• Clarks also delivered 11 trays of food to Lunch Break in Red Bank, which freely provides food to those in need in Monmouth County.
• Over 200 lunches were delivered by the Clarks team to local police, EMS and fire stations in the Jersey shore and South Jersey area.
• They donated dinner to doctors at Jersey Shore University Medical Center through Feed the Frontline - Jersey Shore.

Jackie Truesdale of Clarks Landing Yacht Sales's Operations team explains, "In difficult times like this, it's easy to feel the natural, negative emotions like sadness, anger and anxiousness and harder to feel positive. We found that by keeping busy and helping our local community, it's helped with our mental health and brought a bit of happiness to everyone involved. We want to keep these efforts going."
